Josh
There was a lone soldier from Idaho and a friend of mine who I worked with in the Old City. On October 7th, he went into the reserves and spent over 700 days in the reserves during the war in Lebanon and Gaza. Josh was discharged from his reserve duty two weeks ago and unfortunately took his own life a few days ago battling severe post-traumatic stress disorder. He deserves a proper military burial on Mount Herzl, as he would have wished if anything had happened to him, but the Ministry of Defense is not giving him what he deserves, because he was officially discharged from the reserves and was not on active duty at the time of his death. The only thing he cared about was serving the Jewish state and protecting his brothers and sisters. Google his name and read about him, he was truly a true hero of Israel.
